Wine made using the traditional Port method. After gentle grinding and de-stemming, the grapes are fermented together with the skins. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature and is stopped by the addition of wine distillate. The entire winemaking process, which is followed by the oenological team, takes into account the grape varieties, their degree of ripeness and the desired sweetness. This wine matures in barrels for 3 to 4 years.
Serving: This port wine does not need to be decanted. If served with ice, tonic and a slice of lemon, it is an exceptional aperitif. It tastes best with dried fruit and nuts and with various appetizers. It is also suitable to serve with desserts based on tropical fruits or ice cream. It should be served at a temperature between 10 and 12 °C.
Store at constant temperature and protect from direct light. Best consumed within 2 to 3 months after opening.
